Can the University contact the Home Office to speed up my student visa extension application?

If you are an international student who has applied for a student visa extension from within the UK, the Home Office advise that it can take up to 8 weeks before you receive a decision on your application. You should remain in the UK until you receive a decision.

The University has no influence on the timeframes of student visa applications, so we are unable to escalate individual applications. Please allow the estimated 8 weeks timeframe as a minimum.
