Do I have to use the one-time access code provided by my tutor to check in to my session on MySurrey Attendance?

You can only check-in to your timetabled teaching session by using the one-time access code provided by your tutor within the check-in window (commencing 10 minutes before, continuing and ending 30 minutes before the end of the session).

If the MySurrey Attendance app is not displaying the event, it is most likely that you are not timetabled to be at that session. Please check your timetable. If it is missing from your timetable please speak to MySurrey Hive in the first instance.

If you are timetabled to be there, but the code isn’t working, please ask your academic to check you in for this occasion, and then log a query with the IT service desk giving as much detail as possible, including the module code, time and location, the time that you attempted to check-in, and confirmation of WIFI access and that your bluetooth and location services were switched on. Please also include the error details you encountered, with a screenshot if possible.
