How can I access LinkedIn Learning and what support does it provide?
LinkedIn Learning is an online educational platform that helps you discover and develop in-demand industry skills through expert-led course videos, brought to you by LinkedIn and accessible for free through your University of Surrey student account.
With more than 5,000 courses and personalised recommendations, you can discover, complete, and track courses related to your field and interests. You can also choose to add these courses and related skills to your LinkedIn profile once you've completed them to share with your network. Read our article about how to create a LinkedIn profile if you want to know more about LinkedIn and set up a profile.
Students do not require a LinkedIn account to access LinkedIn Learning because you can activate your LinkedIn Learning account through single sign-on (SSO). However, we encourage you to set up a LinkedIn profile to help develop your personal brand, connect with employers and build your professional network.
To get started with LinkedIn Learning, try our Student Employability LinkedIn Learning Starter Pack which has few videos to get you familiar with LinkedIn Learning. This starter pack contains learning content recommended by our professional team of Career Development Advisers to get you started and build the confidence you need to succeed with your own career pathway.
You can find more information about LinkedIn Learning and other learning resources the University offers on our Digital Tools for Success employability page.
