How can I get a letter from the university for my prospective employer, that shows what restrictions I have under my student visa?

If you are an international student on a student visa, and you are applying for a job, your potential employer will need information regarding any working restrictions you have (related to your visa status). This is referred to as a “Student Information for Employment Purposes" letter.

You can download and print this letter yourself from our University Letters page on Surrey Support. This letter will inform potential employers about the working restrictions related to your visa status.  A copy of the letter will then be emailed to you for you to print out and send to your prospective employer.
