How do I apply for a visa travel letter or invitation letter?

Please note that the International Student Advice team do not provide invitation letters for students inviting guests to their graduation ceremony. Please see our guidance on how your guests can apply to travel to the UK to attend your graduation ceremony.

If you require a visa travel letter or an invitation letter for other purposes, you can submit a request through Surrey Self-Service using the "Letters" tab in the top right corner of the screen. Please note that we only provide these for students who are currently enrolled and are making the request before they have reached their course end date.
