How do I get confirmation of my university course so that my NHS Learning Support Fund can be paid to me?
If you have applied for NHS Learning Support Funding, this is generally paid over the academic year in 3 instalments.
Before you receive any payments, the university needs to confirm you are attending your course each semester. You will also have to confirm this yourself for certain semesters. This process is called Confirmation of Student Attendance (COSA). You will use your NHS LSF account to confirm your attendance yourself and the university will do the same once their COSA windows open.
You do not need to do anything yourself for semester 1. You’ll receive your first semester payment once the university confirms your attendance.
You will receive further semester payments once both you and the university confirm your attendance. The NHS will contact you on the email address on your NHS LSF account asking you to do this. Once you’ve confirmed your attendance status, your university will do the same after their COSA window opens.
Payment dates for the latest and previous academic years are provided on the NHS Learning Support Fund website.
