How do I get a refund of my applicant deposit fee?

If you are taking up the course you applied for, the applicant deposit amount that you paid will be offset against your tuition fees.

If you are not taking up the course that you have applied for, you can apply for a refund of the applicant deposit fee if you have paid this.

Your application for the refund can be submitted to the admissions team within four weeks of the original start date of the course. Please use this online form to apply for the refund.

Once an applicant deposit has been paid, a refund request can only be considered for the following reasons after deduction of an administrative fees of £150:-

  • refusal of a student visa
  • inability to meet academic or English language requirements specified in offer
  • extenuating circumstances
  • programme closure

Refund requests are decided on a case-by-case basis, and you may be asked to provide evidence to support your application.
