How do I know when the teaching for a module will take place?

You should be able to view the classes and teaching for your modules by viewing your online timetable. Your classes should be listed here.

However, if a module is not yet showing on your timetable or if you are considering switching to another module and want to see when the teaching is scheduled for, it is possible to temporarily add modules to your timetable yourself to see when the classes will take place.

You can manually add modules to your timetable using these steps:

• Visit timetable.surrey.ac.uk

• Click the toggle timetable list in the top-right corner of the screen

• Scroll down and click the "Add" button

• A table will appear—select the "Module" tab

• Enter your module code in the search bar

• Once the module appears, select it and click “OK”

• Finally, click "Save" at the bottom of the screen

This will make the module appear on your timetable temporarily. Once your modules are confirmed and your timetable has been updated, remember to remove this manual attachment.
