How long do I have to submit an academic misconduct appeal?
Your appeal needs to be submitted within 10 University working days of receiving official notification of the University's decision.
If you are unable to provide all the supporting evidence by the appeal submission deadline (for example, if you are awaiting receipt of a medical letter), then you are still required to submit your appeal within the 10 University working day timeframe.
In this instance, you should submit a completed academic misconduct form alongside a supporting statement and any available evidence.
You may request an extension to submit any pending evidence at a later date by email to OSCAR at the time of the appeal submission. Such requests should explain the reason the extension is required and outline the timeframe for when you expect to submit the pending evidence.
