I am trying to choose my optional modules in Surrey Self-Service but the module is not listed or is not allowing me to select it?

If you are having problems selecting your optional modules in Surrey Self-Service, there may be a few reasons why you are not able to make your choices.

Firstly, if you are a new student please make sure you have completed online registration and are registered with us. 

It is also worth checking that online module selection has opened. The online module selection dates can be checked on our Key Dates page. You may need to wait until the online module selection period has opened.

If you are still having problems, the MySurrey Hive team can advise. You can send them your questions via Surrey Support, please select "My Course" as your enquiry topic.

If you have missed the deadline to select your optional modules, we will automatically select these for you. If you want to change any of these selections, you can request change your modules within the first two weeks of the semester.

If you are struggling to access the Surrey Self-Service portal we recommend trying a different browser/device. If the problem persists, please contact the IT Service Desk.
