I do not want to attend my graduation ceremony, what should I do?

You do not have to attend your ceremony if you don't want to. If you do not wish to attend and have not received your degree certificate, please contact the Exams, Graduation and Awards team to request your certificate. You can either arrange to collect it from Senate House reception or we can post it to you. If you want it to be posted to you, please provide details of your postal address. Sending by courier is also an option but you would need to contact us to arrange this and then pay for this via our online store.

If you would like to attend a graduation ceremony at another time, you can defer your attendance to the following year by contacting the Ceremonies team.

If you had booked and paid for robe hire but no longer need this, you can contact our robemakers about a refund. If any guests that had booked tickets to the ceremony need to cancel their tickets, a refund can be arranged by sending an email to the Ceremonies team.
