I have just submitted an application to extend my student visa from within the UK but my current visa expires soon, what do I do?

Provided you submitted your application before your current visa expiry date, you can remain in the UK for as long as it takes to receive a decision (even if this takes you beyond your visa expiry date). Please do not leave the UK whilst you have a pending application as doing so will automatically withdraw your application.
