I have to resubmit my dissertation, how can I do this?

If you need to resubmit your dissertation because you have failed at your first attempt, you are able to submit a revised dissertation within six months. You should rework your current failed dissertation and not start from the beginning again.

If you are an international student, you do not need to remain in the UK to resubmit your dissertation. Dissertations are not a ‘taught’ module and so do not have any timetabled teaching sessions.

If you are a postgraduate student who was due to be awarded in November but have failed your dissertation, you have the opportunity to resubmit in January to allow your work to be processed through the February Board of Examiners. You will need to complete a microsoft form to indicate when you would like to resubmit your dissertation and will be notified by email following mark release with details of how to do this. If we do not hear from you, it will be assumed that you will resubmit in May.
