If I submit an extenuating circumstance application for an exam, what outcome can I get?

Approved extenuating circumstance (EC) applications for exams or tests will always defer the exam or test to the next available assessment period. We cannot offer an extension for exams or tests. 

In those incidences where there has been a technical issue during an exam, an approved EC may permit an exam to be marked rather than requiring a deferred attempt at another time. However this is subject to specific criteria and these cases are reviewed on a case by case basis
