I'm a final-year student, if I apply for ECs will it affect my graduation?

Approved extenuating circumstances for undergraduate final-year modules may receive an extension or a deferral. 

A deferral may mean your final award won't be processed until later in the year and you won't be able to attend graduation until the following academic year.
