What disability or medical adjustments are available in campus accommodation?

A range of accommodation adjustments may be considered depending on your disability or medical needs and the supporting evidence you provide.

These may include, for example, accessible or adapted rooms, ergonomic furniture, an orthopaedic mattress, a mini fridge for medication, ensuite facilities, a quieter location, or other room-based adjustments.

To request accommodation adjustments, you should complete our Register and Request Support Form, if you have not already done so, and then submit an Additional Request, selecting “Accommodation” as the adjustment type, as early as possible.

Your request will be reviewed by a Disability Adviser and, if supported, the Accommodation team will arrange adjustments where possible, in line with availability and accommodation processes.
