What IT systems can I access from off-campus?

If you are connected to the internet, you can access:
- OneDrive
- Office365
- Printing
- SurreyLearn
- Panopto
- SurreyRecruit
- Surrey App Store
- Microsoft Teams
- SharePoint

- Library resources
You can also use virtual desktop to:
- Transform your device into a virtual University machine so you have the same experience as you would if you were using a PC on campus
- Access your files and frequently used software.
Linux users can also use a SSH gateway to access University systems remotely:
- SSH to username@access.eps.surrey.ac.uk
- Mac and Linux users, use Terminal then SSH to username@access.eps.surrey.ac.uk
- Windows users, use command prompt or putty then SSH to username@access.eps.surrey.ac.uk
- The SSH service will require multi-factor authentication (MFA). To set up the MFA please follow our MFA instructions (PDF).
- The service also allows you to use public key pairs for authentication. For more information, please view the public key authentication guide (PDF).
You can also connect to the University service via remote access:
- If you are using a University-provided laptop, please read our university provided laptop instructions (PDF).
