What is a Peer Active Learning Scheme mentee and how can I apply to be one?
As a Peer Active Learning Scheme (PALS) mentee you will benefit from the experience, advice and tips from more experienced students at the university. The PALS matches foundation, first and second year undergraduate students (as PALS mentees), with a trained final year undergraduate or postgraduate PALS mentor to develop academic skills for studying and learning.
If you successfully sign up and are matched with a mentor, you can have up to four hours of mentoring - it's up to you and your mentor to agree how best to use these hours. For example, you can have four one-hour meetings or eight 30-minute meetings or any combination. You can meet in person on campus or online.
Please visit our PALS Mentees page for more information and to sign up.
