Why are some foundation year courses in FABSS charged less than foundation year courses in FHMS and FEPS?

Some foundation year courses are subject to a lower fee rate due to the nature in which they are taught. Those courses that are considered 'classroom-based' are charged a lower fee as they take place in a classroom setting and do not include laboratory, studio, or fieldwork elements. Please note the lower fee rate applies to the foundation year only, and from the standard level 4 year of study onwards, standard fees in line with UK government guidance will apply.
