Why do I need to set up self-service password reset?

The first time you log into a Surrey service you will be prompted to set up multi-factor authentication (MFA) and self-service password reset.

Self-service password reset enables you to quickly and easily change or reset your password without needing to contact the IT Service Desk. 

Once set up, you can change your password from anywhere by visiting the reset password page.

If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it by visiting: passwordreset.microsoftonline.com.
