How can I block an email from an individual sender?

If you want to block emails from an individual sender, you can do this by adjusting your settings from within your Outlook account. In the top right hand side of your Outlook screen (from your Inbox page), you should see a ‘Settings’ cog icon. Click on this and you should see ‘Junk email’ listed. Click on this and you should then see ‘Blocked senders and domains’ and you can add an email address or domain. Once added, any emails from these blocked senders will automatically go to your Junk folder.

Likewise, if emails from trusted senders are being sent to your Junk folder, you can also adjust the settings and add safe senders and domains in the same way. Just select ‘Add safe sender’ from the ‘Safe senders and domains’ tab and add the senders email address or domain.

If you have received a suspicious email that you think our Cyber Security team should be aware of, you should report this to us.
