I have received several requests / invoices for payment of my accommodation fees?
You can expect to pay for your accommodation fees every three months of your stay. Usually the 'pay by' dates are in October, January and April. For postgraduates there is usually also an instalment in June. Requests for payment for the first instalment are usually sent to you by email 10 days after your arrival into your accommodation.
Please note, the invoice number will remain the same for each instalment (unless you change rooms).
If you have not made a payment for your latest accommodation fee instalment, we will send you a reminder by email (to your university email address) a week before your instalment is due (the ‘pay by’ date). This will include details of the invoice number and the instalment amount that is due. If you have already paid that instalment, you do not need to make another payment. Once you have made a payment for your accommodation fees, a receipt will be emailed directly to you via the email address that you provided when you made the payment.
If you have not made a payment by the ‘pay by’ date you will receive emails from us on a weekly basis chasing payment of that instalment (and invoice number). Failure to pay may result in you being given a notice to vacate your accommodation.
