What should I do if I receive a junk email?
The junk email filter evaluates each incoming message to assess whether it might be spam, based on several factors. The Outlook junk email filter does not stop delivery of junk email message but moves suspected spam to the 'Junk Email' folder.
Any message that is suspected to be junk is moved to the Junk Email folder.
However, f you receive junk mail, and it has not been filtered into your Junk Email folder then you should not open it in case of a virus and just delete it from your inbox. You can also use the “Report Phish” button to report the message to our Cyber Security team if you believe the message is suspicious.
