What financial support can I receive if I study or work abroad?

There are a range of bursaries and grants available for study exchange, undergraduate and postgraduate professional training year placements, research placements, summer programmes and elective placements.  In addition, support from Student Finance is available for study exchange and professional training year placements in the form of student loans and travel grants.

Competitive grants administered through the International Engagement Office are prioritised to students from disadvantaged or widening participation groups. Students can find out more, including whether they are eligible to apply for grant funding, on SurreyAbroad.
