What financial support can I receive if I study or work abroad?

There are a range of bursaries and grants available for study exchange, undergraduate and postgraduate professional training year placements, research placements, summer programmes and elective placements.  In addition, support from Student Finance is available for study exchange and professional training year placements in the form of student loans and travel grants.

Students from disadvantaged or widening participation groups can access additional funding to study or work abroad through grants such as the Turing Scheme.
