What support is available during my placement?
Your Director of Employability, the Placements Team and Placement Tutor (allocation of your Placement Tutor occurs during the summer of the year your placement starts) are here to support you. Please do not hesitate to contact them at any point you feel you need support or guidance.
You will find information on all the practical and financial aspects of the Professional Training Year on MySurrey. This information includes:
- Practical placement advice and support (including wellbeing information)
- Wellbeing at your fingertips: Introducing the Health Assured app and 24/7 helpline
- Funding and financial advice
- Work abroad (including insurance information)
- Professional Training Charter.
